Welcome to Sun E Tourism | Sun E Bike Spain. This Refunds and Returns Policy governs the process for returning rented bicycles, e-bikes, and related equipment (“Bicycle”) and obtaining refunds. By renting a Bicycle from us, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

Definitions

• Renter: The legal person who enters into the rental agreement as a tenant.
• Landlord: Sun E Tourism | Sun E Bike Spain, who concludes the rental agreement as lessor.
• Rental Period: The duration for which the Bicycle is rented, as stated in the rental agreement.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the start of the Rental Period are eligible for a full refund.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start of the Rental Period will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
• No refunds will be provided for cancellations made after the start of the Rental Period.

Early Returns

• If you choose to return the Bicycle before the end of the Rental Period, no partial refunds will be provided.

Security Deposit Refunds

• The security deposit of EUR 100 per rented Bicycle will be refunded upon the safe and complete return of the Bicycle and its accessories.
• Deductions will be made for any damage to or loss of the Bicycle, accessories, or keys.

Damaged or Missing Items

• In the event of damage to the Bicycle, the cost of repairs will be deducted from the security deposit.
• If the Bicycle or any of its parts are missing, the Renter is liable for the replacement cost, which will be deducted from the security deposit.

Late Returns

• Late returns will incur additional charges, as outlined in the rental agreement.
• Failure to return the Bicycle within the agreed-upon time may result in forfeiture of the security deposit.

Force Majeure

• Refunds will not be provided in cases of force majeure, where the failure to fulfill the rental agreement is due to circumstances beyond either party’s control.

How to Request a Refund

• To request a refund, please contact our customer service team with your rental agreement details and reason for the refund.
• Refund requests will be processed within 14 business days.

Governing Law

• This Refunds and Returns Policy is governed by Spanish law.
• Any disputes arising from or relating to this policy will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.
